BE ALERT

Byron says temperatures will stay above freezing this morning, and there is zero ice on the roadways. We'll be right back into the 50's this afternoon under partly to mostly sunny skies.
Thursday will bring the threat for severe thunderstorms.  The entire area will likely be upgraded to a MODERATE RISK of severe storms for Thursday, with damaging winds as the main hazard.  Temperatures will push into the mid 60s Thursday, fueled by gusty southwest winds of 15-30 mph.  The latest storm track on Sunrise.

Robbery arrests

Henderson police arrest two men in the weekend robbery of a liquor store, and a burglary at a youth baseball office. One of the suspects barricaded himself in a home and had to be coaxed out by police.  We'll have the details.

IU Assembly "fall"

Indiana postponed Tuesday night's basketball game against No. 15 Iowa after piece of metal fell into the seats at Assembly Hall about six hours before tip off. Athletic director Fred Glass said the school made the decision after the metal piece, roughly 8 feet long and 14 inches wide, fell into the lower bowl of the arena and damaged seats in the northwest corner. The game was scheduled for 9 p.m. and a makeup date was not announced.

Olympic Winter Games

The United States has a share of the lead in the overall medal count at the Sochi Games after capturing one gold and one bronze on Tuesday.  We'll have the latest, including a medal count and a look at what's coming up today at the games.

So enjoy your day, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
