One person hurt in Princeton mobile home fire

Posted: Updated:
GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

Princeton fire crews say a mobile home is badly burned after a fire at the Valley Trailer Court on West Broadway.

The two people inside the home, Shirley Gayer and Brian Paris, were able to get out on their own.

Princeton Police say Paris was hurt in the fire and taken to Deaconess with non-life threatening injuries.

The Gibson County Sheriff's Office says traffic was backed up on W. Broadway St. at N. Embree St. near the railroad tracks while crews were on scene.

Fire crews suspect the fire started at the home's furnace.

The investigation is ongoing.
