Public welcome to share ideas at Evansville road meetings

Posted: Updated:

The City of Evansville are hosting public road meetings for the community to share ideas on road issues, like potholes.

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and City Engineer Pat Keepes will host the meetings for the purpose of sharing information about 2014 road projects and receiving comments from local citizens.

The city says each meeting will begin with a PowerPoint presentation followed by a question and answer session. All city residents are welcome to attend any meeting.

The meetings are set for:

  • February 20 from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the C.K. Newsome Community Center at 100 E. Walnut Street
  • February 26 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Plaza Park International Academy at 7301 Outer Lincoln Avenue
  •  March 3  from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Stringtown Library at 2100 Stringtown Road
The public can call the City Garage/City Maintenance department at 435-6000 any time of the year to report potholes. The repairs will be made weather/time permitting.
