Henderson City Commissioner indicted for impersonating peace officer

Posted: Updated:

Henderson City Commissioner Tom Davis has been indicted by a grand jury for impersonating a peace officer.

Not much is being released at this time, but in Kentucky, impersonating a peace officer is a Class D felony.

The incident in question took place in late 2013 in Henderson. Davis was elected as a city commissioner in 2012, and is currently seeking a second term.

In 2006, Davis was elected Mayor of Henderson, but was defeated in his second attempt in 2010.

Kentucky State Police are handling the investigation.

14 News reached out to Davis on Wednesday. He told us via text that his attorney is out of town, and won't make a statement without talking to him first.

14 News is continuing to follow these developments, and we will have the latest on air, online at 14News.com and on mobile with the 14 News mobile app.
