Reward offered for recovery of money stolen from O'boro store

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Owensboro Police says a reward is now being offered for information in the theft of thousands of dollars from a grocery store.

It happened around 8:30 on January 30 at Taylor's Foodland on West Second Street.

OPD says a man took over $10,000 in cash from the store's office.

Police have arrested 35-year-old Valdeze Hughes and 24-year-old Andreya Williams in connection to the theft.

Both are facing a long list of charges.

The Owensboro-Daviess County Crime Stoppers says a payout of $1,000 has been approved for the tip that leads to the full recovery of the stolen money.
