Boil advisory lifted for portion of Evansville's south side

A precautionary boil water advisory has just been lifted for a portion of Evansville's south side.

The advisory was in place while Evansville Water & Sewer Utility crews worked on a 12" water main break on South Weinbach just North of Covert Avenue.

The boil advisory has been lifted in these areas:

Weinbach Avenue from Monroe south to Cass

Monroe Avenue from S. Frederick east to S. Weinbach

Covert Avenue from S. Rotherwood east to S. Fairlawn

Mahrendale Avenue from S. Weinbach east to S. Alvord
