First Evansville Traveling City Hall of the year tackles snow removal

The City of Evansville will hold its first Traveling City Hall meeting of 2014 Wednesday night at the C. K. Newsome Community Center.

Transportation and Services Director Todd Robertson will be the guest speaker.  He'll address the topic of snow removal.

According to the Mayor's Office, Robertson will "talk briefly about the city's snow removal program, from determining when to pre-treat roads to snow removal on residential streets and sidewalks".

Robertson will also have maps of the city's 11 snow routes at the meeting.

After the presentation, anyone attending is welcome to speak one-on-one with Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke or any other city or county officials in attendance.

The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 7 p.m..

The C. K. Newsome Community Center is located at 100 East Walnut Street, and the meeting will be held in Room 118.

Traveling City Hall meetings happen once a month at different sites around Evansville.
