A Hopkins County man is found guilty by a jury after waving a loaded gun at a mother and her two young children.
Officials say 57-year-old Marlon Poole and the mother got into a disagreement while driving. That's when Poole approached the family in a Madisonville neighborhood with the loaded gun.
Poole unsuccessfully argued that the state's "Stand Your Ground" law provided him the right to brandish his weapon.
The jury sentenced Poole to 60 days in jail.
