An Evansville woman is arrested after hitting a brick wall in Vanderburgh County.
Sheriff's deputies say her blood alcohol level tested at nearly three times the legal limit.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office got a call about a possible drunk driver just before 6:00 p.m. Monday.
A witness said the driver hit a brick wall at the entrance to the Huntington Place Subdivision in the 3800 block of North Green River Road.
The driver then left the scene. She was spotted by deputies near Highway 41 and Petersburg Road. They noticed there were two children in the SUV.
The Sheriff's Office says a breath test revealed that 31-year-old Amber Jesop had an alcohol level of .22%.
Jesop was arrested for OMVWI with passengers under 18, hit and run, and neglect of a dependent.
The seven and four-year-old children who were with Jesop were released to their father.
