Vanderburgh County tops the list for the highest number of meth labs in the state.
New numbers released on Friday show the number of one-pot meth labs is up.
Officials found 115 meth labs in Vanderburgh County in 2013. That is slightly up from 111 labs in 2012.
Indiana State Police reported more than 1,800 meth labs statewide.
Statistics showed that 27 adults died in 2013 as a result of a meth lab, 11 of which were directly related to an explosion or fire.
ISP said 440 children were affected by those labs statewide. That is about one in every four lab that has a child present while meth is cooking.
The No-Meth Task Force has mapped the locations of all of the meth labs in our area.
