A Gibson County man has been charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say 49-year-old Douglas Dillon is accused of firing two .50 caliber muzzle loaders at a home on East School Street in Patoka on Tuesday morning.
When deputies arrived in the area, Dillon was found sitting in a pickup. The two .50 caliber muzzle loaders were located in the vehicle. Deputies say they noticed the primers in each gun were used meaning that both weapons had recently been fired.
Dillon was arrested and taken to the Gibson County Jail. He is being held without bond pending his initial court hearing.
