OAKLAND CITY, IN (WFIE) -

The Oakland City Police Department asked for your help to identify this man; this morning, he's behind bars.

Oakland City Police Chief, Alec Hensley, says Thomas Noble was arrested yesterday in Evansville.

Noble allegedly walked out of Fred's Store in Oakland City on Monday with a 40" flat screen TV that he didn't pay for.

Chief Hensley says Noble did the same thing in Evansville, which led to his arrest.

Evansville Police were dispatched yesterday afternoon to a theft in progress at the Walmart on North Burkhardt.

They say they found the 31-year-old Noble trying to load a stolen TV into his vehicle.  During their investigation, officers also found narcotics and a TV that had been stolen from the Target on East Lloyd Expressway earlier in the day.

Noble is in the Vanderburgh County Jail and is facing charges of theft and possession of narcotics.
