Police launch "Eye on Owensboro" campaign

The Owensboro Police Department recently launched a campaign that they say will help prevent crime. Business owners and residents may register their security cameras with the police department. If a crime happens in view of one of the cameras police will contact the registered owner to view the video.

Police say registration is free, simple, and only takes a few minutes. The form can be accessed at www.owensboro.org/police. Police say people who register their cameras will receive an Owensboro Police Department "Eye on Owensboro" window decal that they can display in their window.
