A Henderson man is out of jail after serving six months of a seven year sentence in the death of his wife.
Court officials tell us 37-year-old Steven Cotter was released from jail Friday and put on shock probation.
Cotter entered an Alford Plea in April to a second degree manslaughter charge.
An Alford Plea means Cotter didn't plead guilty, but there was enough evidence to convict him. 39-year-old Michelle Cotter, was shot in the couple's home in 2012.
At the sentencing hearing, Cotter said what happened was a horrible accident.
