There's a new baby at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden.
His name is Malachite, "Mally" for short, and he is Colobus Monkey.
Zoo officials say Mally is doing well.
He is the first Colobus Monkey born at the zoo since 2009.
Mally will be introduced to the public at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, January 13, in the Children's Enchanted Forest.
Native to Africa, the Colobus Monkey is black and white in color but is born completely white.
It is unique, because unlike other monkeys, it does not have thumbs.
