PRINCETON, IN (WFIE) - The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded a road resurfacing project for State Road 64 (S.R. 64) in Gibson County.
It includes the area between Brown Street and Lake Road along S.R. 64 on Princeton's far-east side.
INDOT says the work involves deep patching in many areas, milling off existing pavement and replacing it with new asphalt.
A five-day closure will be required when crews deep patch eight locations between Brown and First Streets.
It's anticipated work will begin in late March, or as soon as weather conditions will allow.
INDOT says several potholes have formed along this stretch of roadway. They will closely monitor the situation and patch as needed.
Drivers should call INDOT's customer service department at 1-800-279-5758 to report any potholes that develop, or email email@example.com
