GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

A Princeton man pleads guilty to kidnapping.

In a court hearing Thursday, 47-year-old Marvin Boze plead guilty to 5 counts of kidnapping.

Police arrested Boze in Fort Branch in August after police say he abducted five children.

Officials say the kids were being watched by a 15-year-old at their home. Boze picked up the kids in his truck and for whatever reason took them to a wooded area near Duke Energy.

A security guard found two of the kids tied up, and then three others in Boze's truck.

Once the guard arrived, Boze fled of foot and allegedly stole vehicles to make his way to the Palestine, Illinois area before being arrested in Fort Branch.

A sentencing hearing for Boze was set for January 30.

Officials say Boze will serve concurrent sentences on the kidnapping counts and could be anywhere from 20 to 50 years.

Lesser charges of criminal confinement and auto theft were dismissed.
