Local news anchor Randy Moore joins the 14WFIE news team

14NEWS, the Tri-State's News and Weather Leader, is pleased to announce that local News Anchor Randy Moore is joining the highest rated local TV station, 14WFIE, in January!

Moore has worked in Evansville TV News for more than 30 years anchoring various newscasts. "As an Evansville Native, I grew up with WFIE.  Even as a competitor, I always admired and respected the work of Channel 14.  To join an organization whose reputation has been built by the likes of Marcia Yockey, David James, Mike Blake and Ann Komis is truly an honor.  I look forward to doing all I can to uphold that excellent tradition," said Moore.

14WFIE Vice-President and General Manager Nick Ulmer said, "I am thrilled that Randy Moore will be joining our 14 News Team.  His journalistic knowledge and skills will enhance our news operation.  Randy will be a huge asset toward insuring our leadership in news gathering at WFIE TV, now and in the future."

Moore will begin his duties at 14WFIE on January 2, 2014.  However, due to existing contractual obligations, he will be behind the scenes until that prior obligation is met.  He'll be back on the air January 1, 2015.

"Randy is well known in the Tri-State as someone with a high level of integrity and topnotch journalistic skills.  We're extremely happy he's joining the team here at 14 News," said Scott Galloway, News Director.
