Church Packed For Benefit Concert

A Vanderburgh County church was filled Thursday night. They hosted a benefit concert with the sounds of Kevin Sharp, Jared Haase and Hometown News.

All for Evansville police officer Nathan Schroer who is in need of a bone marrow transplant to treat his leukemia. And also for Mickey Phernetton, the seven-year-old daughter of an Evansville police officer.

In the graphic at left, you'll see Mickey dancing in front of the stage. She has Prader Willy Syndrome, a disease that keeps her in a constant state of hunger.

You can still make a donation to help these people out at Boonville Federal Savings Bank or Christian Fellowship Church.
