He's been a huge part of 14 News for almost 14 years, but today we say goodbye to our dear friend, Chad Sewich. He's helped keep us safe during severe weather, and made us smile in between. He's off to California to begin the next chapter of his life, and we'll send him off in style this morning on Sunrise.
Sunny and cold
Chad will also have the New Year's eve forecast which he says will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid 30s. It will be Mostly clear tonight with a low in the upper 20s as the partying begins.
Ringing in 2014
Say good bye to 2013. We're just hours away from 2014 and celebrations are starting all across the globe. We'll tell how preparations are going in New York City and here in the tri-state on Sunrise.
Boogie oogie oogie
Nicole is back from vacation and ready to boogie! She'll be live at Boogie Nights nightclub in downtown Evansville with details on a back to the future party.
Owensboro Museum party
And Emily Busby is live in Owensboro to tell us about a party planned tonight at the Owensboro Museum.
So stay safe and Happy New Year!
We'll see you on Sunrise!
