While many are recovering from holiday feasting, others are wondering where their meals will come from.
Leaders at the Tri-State Food Bank said fighting hunger in our area is a never-ending battle.
They are hoping the giving spirit people have this time of year will continue even as 2013 comes to an end.
The Tri-State Food Bank serves 33 counties in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. They are always in need of more because of so many agencies they work with.
"We've always got room," said Steve Marchand. "This pallet here may be gone tomorrow. It goes out to over 250 different agencies in the 33 counties. A lot of the food actually stays in Vanderburgh County. It's our largest county that we service. There's constantly food going out to all different areas though."
You can make a donation by visiting the Tri-State Food Bank on E. Michigan Street, Monday through Friday starting at 7:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
You can also drop off food at Price Less Foods stores in Evansville and Newburgh through December 31.
