Back to the store

Some newly opened Christmas gifts are heading back today.  This will no doubt be another busy shopping day, as folks return things they didn't like, exchange things that didn't fit, of just want to get in on some of the after Christmas sales.

Where's my gift?

Some Christmas shoppers are up in arms however, after a UPS backlog meant thousands of presents didn't make it under the tree in time. Online retailers like Amazon often guarantee delivery by a certain date, especially during the holidays. We'll have the latest.

Suspicious death

We're expected to learn more tomorrow about the suspicious death of an Evansville man. Vanderburgh County Coroner Annie Groves confirms the body of 33 year old Nicholas Matthew was discovered Christmas eve at an apartment complex on Hatfield Drive. Groves says an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to determine the time and cause of death.

Sunny and dry

This will be the 5th straight dry day after record rainfall on Saturday.  Skies clear early this morning...brighter today with high temps in the upper 30s. Dry streak could last into 2014. Byron has the forecast.

So enjoy your day and we'll see you on Sunrise.
