Ugly sweater that is

It's going to get ugly on Sunrise this morning as the crew battles it out in our first annual bad Christmas sweater contest.  The one posted above will be on display, but you'll have to tune in to see who's wearing it.

Cold with rising rivers

Colder but all the dry, windy weather is badly needed after record rainfall on Saturday. We are done with rain for several days...now the temperatures will plunge as winds turn back to the northwest.  Highs will stay below 40 for the first half of the week, and lows will drop into the teens. Area rivers will be on the rise through much of the week, with some flooding along the Ohio, Wabash, Little Wabash and White rivers. Byron will have the details on Sunrise.

Deadly flooding

Authorities say four people have been killed by flooding caused by a strong storm system that swept through most of Kentucky. State Emergency Management spokesman Buddy Rogers told The Associated Press that the bodies of three people were pulled from Rolling Fork River in central Kentucky Sunday morning.

Local flooding

Many area roads are closed due to flooding around the area, and clean-up continues at Mclean County High School after winds took off the gym roof and flooded the basketball court.

Fantasy of Lights

And we'll check out the Fantasy of Lights in Garvin Park as we move closer to Christmas. Erin Meyer is live with that.

So enjoy your day, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
