Evansville police are asking for your help following the arrest of an Evansville man.

Police arrested 44-year-old Donald Phelps on December 5 on child molestation charges. Now, officials believe there could be more victims.

Police tell 14 News that although they arrested Phelps weeks ago, they're still conducting interviews related to the case. Police say some of the victims they know of right now are relatives of Phelps.

He's in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center on a  $1 million bond facing 18 Class A felonies for child molestation along with other charges.

Because police suspect there may be victims out there that they don't know about, they're asking the public to call them with any information they have on Phelps.

"It's a very tragic situation. Many times when we make an arrest of a serial child molester, or even a serial criminal of any type, once that information is made public, then we have many times people will reach out to us and say, 'Yes indeed. I'm aware of an incident or I, too, was a victim of this individual,'" said Captain Andy Chandler with the Evansville Police Department.

Phelps is also awaiting extradition to Livingston County, Kentucky where he's facing more child molestation charges.

If you have any information on the case, you're asked to call Detective Stacy Spaulding at 812 435-6072.
