Man steals money from truck stop massage chairs

RICHWOOD, KY (FOX19) -

Police are attempting to identify a suspect who stole money from massage chairs inside a TravelCenters of America (TA) truck stop in Richwood, Ky.

The theft was reported Nov. 28 around 4:50 a.m. in the TA truck stop at 145 Richwood Road. According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, surveillance shows an unidentified man stealing money from two chairs.

Investigators said it appeared as though he cut one of the padlocks and possibly used a pick on the other one.

The suspect is described as a white male, short dark hair and an average height and build. He was wearing a gray and blue hoodie, blue jeans and gray gym shoes.

Anyone with information as to the identity of the man is asked to call the Boone County Sheriff's Office at (859) 334-2175 or Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
