An autopsy performed by the Jackson County Coroner reveals that a Huntingburg man died of a heart attack while he was hunting at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.
45-year-old Jeff Rottet was with a group of friends at the Refuge last night. He separated from the group and then failed to return to their vehicle.
Rottet was later located by his friends and found to be unresponsive. Conservation Officers, along with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and Jackson County EMS, responded to the scene.
