Clear skies this morning with patchy freezing fog possible. High pressure will reside over the area the next few days providing needed sunshine. Another blast of Arctic air will push lows into the single digits on Thursday morning, and highs will stay in lower to middle 20s on Thursday. Temps will moderate into the mid to upper 30s on Friday with some light snow/sleet arriving Saturday morning.
While the main roads are much better, side streets are still slick. We'll be out live to see what they look like as you get set for your morning commute.
Many schools are closed or being delayed yet again today due to road issues. We'll have the list on Sunrise.
Lawmakers are promising an end to the crisis mode that's plagued the nation's capital. Yesterday key members of congress announced they reached a bi-partisan deal on government spending levels. The story on Sunrise.
