Pair arrested after robbery in O'boro store parking lot

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Two men are arrested after an armed robbery in Owensboro. 

Owensboro Police say on Monday afternoon, around 3:00, officers responded to the 2100 block of Churchill Court to investigate a robbery that occurred a short time earlier in the parking lot of Menard's on E. Parrish Avenue.

The victim told police that while in the parking lot at Menard's, two men that he knew, approached him and used physical force to steal his wallet, money, and other personal items.

OPD detectives reviewed video surveillance and were able confirm the allegations. The suspects were also identified as 21-year-old Keifer Long and 22-year-old Landon Renfrow, both of Owensboro.

Police say the victim was not seriously injured.

Long and Renfrow were arrested and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
