KNOX CO., IN (WFIE) -

Two Vincennes men are arrested on several charges after a traffic stop.

Indiana State Police says it happened Tuesday night, around 10:30, when troopers stopped Lee Haislip, 48, of Vincennes, at SR 441 and Niblack Road for committing a traffic violation.

ISP says during the stop troopers were able to determine Haislip was under the influence of drugs. They say a search of his vehicle revealed drug paraphernalia and small amounts of suspected meth and marijuana. Haislip was also wanted on an outstanding felony warrant out of Knox County for possession of meth.

ISP says further investigation revealed Haislip was under the influence of marijuana and meth.

During the traffic stop, Haislip's friend, Kenneth Sheren, 31, of Vincennes, was contacted and asked if he could come to the scene to pick up Haislip's vehicle. When Sheren arrived at the scene to pick up the vehicle troopers say he was also under the influence of meth and marijuana.
