Tell City Police have arrested two in connection to multiple bomb threats made around town early Tuesday morning, including one at Tell City High School.

Joseph Yates and Joey Robinson, both of Tell City, were arrested. Police say the high school wasn't the only place that the two threatened. They left messages for an individual in town and the local Walmart.

School officials say they listened to those voicemail's, left by Yates and Robinson on the school's after-hours phone.

Superintendent Lynn Blinzinger says Yates and Robinson told the school bombs would detonate in the school's restrooms Tuesday afternoon.

The threat turned out to be a hoax, after the school was searched by police and school officials.

Police also say that Walmart received similar phone calls from Yates and Robinson at about 3:00 a.m.

"Typically, when we see this in a school situation, it is a current student inside the school corporation. However, these were ex-students here at the school.School staff is familiar with them from a couple years ago, when they graduated," said Roger Smith with Tell City Police.

Yates and Robinson are both facing charges of intimidation, harassment, and false informing, and are being held in the Perry County Jail.
