Unsolved Crimes: Morris Bechman Vaughn

October 17, 1972

Henderson County, Kentucky

Sixty-seven-year-old Morris Bechman Vaughn was found shot at close range in the back of the neck with a shotgun, and then shot in the face with a handgun or rifle.

The victim's body was found on Horse Shoe Bend Road about one mile south of Henderson.

He had $170.00 in cash, a watch and a diamond ring still on his body when he was discovered.

Vaughn was last seen at the post office at 5pm on October 17, 1972.

His body was found five days later. The victim's vehicle was discovered parked behind his business, Vaughn's Insurance Agency.

An arrest has never been made.
