Break on bills for calls, texts to Philippines

Some people who are trying to call and text loved ones in the Philippines will be getting a break on their bills.

From now through November 30, AT&T wireless postpaid customers won't be charged for international long distance calls placed from an AT&T wireless number in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands to the Philippines.

There will also be no charge for text messages to the Philippines from an AT&T wireless number in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
