CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Veterans were honored Sunday at the 14th Annual Veteran's Honor Service at First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau on Sunday November 10.

Veterans of Cape Girardeau, the surrounding area and nationwide were recognized for the support and sacrifices they made while with the armed forces.

The presentation of colors by American Legion Post 63 started the service and it was followed by a tribute to the branches of service.

Over a hundred names were read of veterans from around the area who served in war.

The Patriot Guard Riders were on hand and a section of the church was dedicated for pictures of men and women on display who served.
