Man gets prison time, ordered to pay over $250,000 for senior community thefts

A Warrick County man charged with stealing over $200,000 from a senior living community in Newburgh is sentenced prison.

The Warrick County Prosecutor's Office says, on Thursday, Joseph Mosley was sentenced on 23 counts of Class D Theft. 

Mosley entered a guilty plea in September to theft of jewelry over 20 residents of Hamilton Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center.

Mosley was an employee of the Center.

He was sentenced to twelve years at the Indiana Department of Correction with six (6) years to be executed and six years suspended to probation.

Mosley was also ordered to make restitution to the victims and their insurance companies in the amount of $261,985.30.

Charges were against Mosley in July after an investigation was conducted by Warrick County Sheriff's Office.
