KNOX CO., IN (WFIE) -

The Knox Co. Sheriff's Office confirms to 14 News that one person was killed in a deadly wreck involving three cars Friday morning.

It happened around 6:30 EST at the Highway 41 and Highway 50 split in Vincennes. Southbound traffic at the Hwy 41/50 interchange was down to one lane while crews worked that scene.

Authorities say a car driven by 39-year-old Martia Miley of Florida hit a van and then crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic.

59-year-old Terry Bailey, of Carlisle, was driving the van and was killed. The passenger inside the van was hurt, but a name has not been released.

Authorities say Miley hit a third car, but that driver was not hurt. They say Miley was intoxicated and will face charges.

Miley's passenger, Robert Daniel of Florida, will face public intoxication and disorderly conduct charges as well.
