WHITE CO., IL (WFIE) -
In a White County courtroom Wednesday morning, Thomas Davidson plead guilty of murder in the August killing of 58-year-old Sandra Burkhardt.

It was part of a plea deal in which the prosecutor agreed to drop all other charges against Davidson in exchange for pleading guilty.

Davidson will be sentenced to 60 years in prison for first-degree murder and will not be eligible for early release.

He will be 85-years-old when he gets out of prison.

The body of 58-year-old Sandra Burkhardt was found back in August. Officials say her last act was to make sure her one-year-old grandson was not hurt during the abduction.
