Deals and discounts for Tri-State Veterans

Many businesses around the Tri-State will also be offering deals and discounts for retired military and current active duty men and women to thank them for their service.

Here's a look at some of those Veterans Day deals:

Mike's Carwash: Free carwash for all veterans and US military members at any Mike's carwash on Veterans Day.

O'Charley's:  This Veterans Day, every O'Charley's restaurant will be offering a complimentary meal to our nation's veterans and active-duty service men and women. With a military I.D. or other proof of service, veterans and active-duty soldiers will have their choice of one of nine meals on O'Charley's "$9.99" menu.

Bar Louis: Free lunch or dinner for Veterans and active military members.

Bob Evans:  The company announced veterans and active military personnel will receive free all-you-can-eat hotcakes at its restaurants on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11. All these honored servicemen and women need do is show a valid military ID.

Ponderosa Steakhouse (Princeton): Free buffet and drink for all veterans and US military members on Monday, November 18. Families are invited, but are not discounted.

Hadi Shrine Circus: Local soldiers and their immediate family members from all branches of our armed forces who are on active duty, currently deployed or returned from overseas duty within the last 6 months can get their hands on free Hadi Shrine Circus tickets. The tickets will be given out from 5 to 7 p.m. on Veterans Day at the Hadi Temple on Walnut Street in Downtown Evansville. Just show up with your military ID and you can get enough tickets for your immediate family. The 80th annual Hadi Shrine Circus is Thanksgiving Day through Sunday, December 1st at the Ford Center.

Shine On Express Carwash: Is giving veterans and active duty military men and women a free carwash on Veterans Day. They also have free donuts and coffee from Donut Bank.

TGI Fridays: Veterans and active duty military service are invited to have a free lunch at TGI Fridays on Monday, November 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check with your local restaurant for participation and details. Valid on select lunch menu items only. Proof of military service is required. Beverages are not included unless an eligible lunch combo is ordered. Offer includes a free entree & beverage.

Mulberry Jeans Accents (Newburgh): Free cup of coffee or tea to any Veteran

This Veterans Day, several events will be held in the area to honor our nation's veterans.
