O'boro delays trick-or-treating due to weather

Owensboro has pushed back when the city will have trick-or-treating.

Due to the threat of inclement weather on Halloween, Owensboro city officials are encouraging Owensboro citizens of to observe Halloween, including the tradition of trick-or-treating, on Friday.

Halloween is not an official holiday so government offices and businesses are open as usual, and public services run on regular schedules.

If you drive around in late afternoon or evening Friday, it is important to keep a careful lookout for children trick-or-treating.
