A Vincennes father is charged with driving his moped drunk with his 11-year-old son as a passenger.
Indiana State Police says it happened Wednesday night around 7:20.
ISP says a trooper saw 46-year-old Karl Tislow run a stop sign at Chestnut and St. Clair Avenue.
The trooper immediately stopped the moped and found that Tislow's 11-year-old son was a passenger on the moped.
ISP says Tislow could barely stay awake during the traffic stop. They say his speech was slurred and was unsteady on his feet.
Authorities say Tislow was under the influence of benzodiazepines, marijuana and opiates.
He was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail where he is currently being held on bond.
Tislow's son was released to a family member.
