LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man accused of killing a woman set to testify in his brother's murder trial will be in court Thursday for a final hearing before his trial starts Tuesday.
Dejuan Hammond is facing murder, intimidating a witness in a legal process and retaliating against a participant in the legal process after the 2009 shooting death of Troya Sheckles.
Sheckles was set to testify in the murder trial of Lloyd Hammond, Dejuan's brother, for the death of her boyfriend.
A second suspect in this murder cases, Steven Pettway, has already been sentenced to 55 years in prison for the death of Sheckles.
