We first told you the story of a local soldier starring in an award winning documentary back in April.
The movie "Not Yet Begun to Fight" has been showing at film festivals across the country, but has yet to be released.
This Sunday, October 20th, you'll have an exclusive chance to see it.
The movie will be playing at Showplace Cinemas East at 3 PM.
The documentary is about five returning vets, Erik Goodge, who's from Newburgh, is one of them.
Erik served in Afghanistan, when his tour was cut short after he was hit by an IED, or Improvised Explosive Device.
Each of the veterans is disabled in some way.
Some are missing legs, some are missing things you can't spot with the naked eye.
But all of them are together in Montana for a fly fishing program.
The movie has already won almost a dozen awards, and is yet to be released.
Erik says the magic of the movie is in it showing the triumph of the human spirit.
"People tend to look at veterans as a protected class, you know what I mean? Like they feel bad for them. Like this is what's going on, this is the troubles they're going through. But what they don't see is them overcoming those problems. They don't see them triumphing over these issues they have when they come home," says Erik.
Seats to the viewing are first come first serve. Seating is limited to 250 seats. If more than 250 people show up, Showplace Cinemas has agreed to offer a second showing of the film on October 27.
