Eventful Fall weekend
If you are looking for things to do this weekend, there are plenty of options. There's a Ghost Walk in Newburgh, Boo at the Zoo in Evansville, Bourbon and Blues, and Reid's Apple Orchard Festival in Owensboro. Nicole is live with the ghosts, and the boo's, while Emily is talking bourbon, blues and apple fest in Sunrise.
Fog, sun, rain, cooler
Some fog may develop this morning, but mostly sunny skies will prop temperatures up to near normal on today with highs in the upper 60s. A cold front will bring showers to the area late Friday night and Saturday morning. Look for a cool weekend with highs in the upper 50s on Saturday and low 60s on Sunday. Byron has the 14 First Alert forecast.
With the government reopened and the latest financial crisis on hold, attention in Washington turns to whether democrats and republicans can come up with a permanent budget plan by mid December. We'll have the latest.
A big night of high school football is ahead. We'll rundown the slate of games on tap that Touchdown Live crew will be covering.
So enjoy your weekend, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
