Some hunters are donating their deer to participating food banks. Indiana DNR officials are encouraging other hunters to jump on board!
On Wednesday, DNR officials are taking to Facebook to talk about the Sportsman's Benevolence Fund.
It's a DNR division that pays the processing fees when hunters donate their legally harvested deer, so that meat can be donated to participating food banks.
DNR Lt. William Browne will answer any of your questions about the program on Wednesday, from 3 to 4 P.M. central time.
