Franklin Street has reopened in Evansville after the West Side Nut Club hosted the 92nd Annual Fall Festival.
If you drove down that street on Sunday, you would not know the second largest street festival in the country was just held there.
Members of the West Side Nut Club were out on Franklin Street at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday where streets were messy.
The vendors were on Franklin Street before the Nut Club members. They were moving their booths so the cleaning crews could move in.
More than 30 committees from the WSNC helped make the festival possible before, during, and after.
"We go all the way to Fulton Avenue, and then we'll go on the other side of St. Joe to the Lloyd, almost over to Columbia picking up trash, making sure that remnants of the festival hasn't been left in somebody's yard or in the alley," said Mark Head.
According to some members, they were trying to leave the streets even cleaner than before the festival.
