USI students hope you can help them fill a huge container with 8,000 pounds of clothes.
The clothing drive kicked off Thursday at the USI parking lot.
You can drop off any unwanted clothes, bed sheets or shoes.
The only thing they ask you don't donate are Crocs and flip flops.
If the students collect at least 7,500 pounds of clothes, they will receive 10 cents per pound.
If they collect less than 7,500 pounds, they will get 5 cents per pound of clothes.
Shoes are worth 50 cents.
At the end of the drive students, hope to use the money to spruce up the new Burdette bike trail at USI.
"I just hope that we can donate at least a bench to the bike trail. Every little bit counts. We decided the bike trail because we wanted something both students and the community uses, says Molly Maloney, a student at USI.
The drive runs from October 10th until October 25th.
You'll find the container on parking lot B. Students will be there to accept donations Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM- 6:00 PM, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
