A Corydon man is dead after a wreck between a train and semi in Henderson County.

Authorities say the crash happened around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Crooked Road and Highway 60, just east side of the Spottsville Bridge.

The Henderson Coroner's Office confirmed that the semi driver, 70-year-old Terry Clark, of Corydon, died of blunt force trauma at the scene. The deputy coroner tells us that Clark was ejected through the windshield of the semi.

Sheriff's deputies say Clark was carrying soybeans and was hit when he crossed the tracks to get to a farm. Deputies say the semi was dragged several feet.

14 News was told the train crew was not injured. The area was shut down  for about five hours while crews cleared the scene.
