Another Tri-State organization is hoping to score a free car on Wednesday, as part of Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program.
The AIDS Resource Group wants to expand their outreach efforts in the community. You can help by voting for ARG on Wednesday only! Voting is open until 10:59 P.M. central time.
Executive Director Tracy Huck says they'll use the car to travel within their service area, which spans 11 counties in Southwest Indiana.
When out in the field, their prevention department provides HIV and Hepatitis C testing, educational presentations, as well as risk counseling services.
Huck says those free services are proven to reduce the risk of HIV in communities.
ARG's car of choice is a Prius, which they hope will cut down greatly on gas expenses. Right now all employees share one car, making scheduling and outreach more difficult.
