Many were without AT&T cell service Tuesday evening in Western Kentucky.
AT&T said a cut cable impacted that service for customers throughout the Kentucky area of the Tri-State. We're told that service is running normally now.
The Madisonville Police Department said seven out of eight AT&T towers that cover the area went down around 4:00 p.m.
An AT&T spokesman sent 14 News that following statement regarding the outage-
'Wireless service has been restored in Western Kentucky after a cable cut earlier today impacted service for some AT&T customers. Technicians rerouted wireless traffic and service is currently running normally. We know customers count on their wireless services, and we apologize for this inconvenience.'
