Police believe man involved in Zesto hold up has struck again

Posted: Updated:

Evansville police think the same man that was involved in a hold up at Zesto has struck again.

This one happened around 3:00 Monday afternoon near the West Franklin Street Zesto.

Authorities say a man offered to help a woman pushing a cart full of groceries, and instead, snatched her purse.

The victims said the man apologized and told them he was homeless. The purse was found just a few hours ago. Money and a key were missing.

Now, police are looking for a thin man in his 20s or 30s with shoulder length sandy brown hair and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with white sweatshirt underneath and jeans. He was running north on Baker.

If you have any information, call police.
