It's finally here!

The West Side Nut Club's Fall Festival officially kicks off Monday morning.

Food booths open at 10 AM, rides open at 2 PM.

There are 136 food booths to choose from.

You'll find everything from the famous brain sandwiches to Fried White Castle Burgers.

New this year? Fried pop tarts.

Another new item: a Donut Bank donut, cut in half, and served with sausage and cheese.

If you're looking for something that won't clog your arteries, you can try any one of the numerous "Wise Choice" options.

Deaconess has a health choice map you can check out right here.

Some of the new healthy choices this year include spicy black bean soup, Cajun shrimp soup and seasoned chicken burger.

In the meantime, Evansville Police are reminding everyone that keeping the event safe is a community affair.

They will have uniform and plain clothes officers stationed all over the festival.

They are also asking the public to be aware of their surroundings and to notify the police if they see anything suspicious, including people arguing or fighting.

The police department released this list of things NOT to bring to the festival:

Glass bottles/ jars/ containers
Animals/ pets of any kind-- SERVICE ANIMALS are permitted and pets are permitted during the pet parade
Squirt guns/ water balloons
Bicycles/ scooters/ skateboards/ roller blades

The Nut Club will have a booth to reunite lost kids with their parents. They will be at Franklin and 11th. We also suggest you have a designated meeting place in case you get separated from your group.
